Dear Lorenzo,
It depends on why you are having the procedure. If you have acne scars that you would like to improve, then Fraxel would be an option. I would have to evaluate your skin prior to making any recommendations on treatment options.
Thank you,
Dr. Brooks

Would you suggest a procedure such as Fraxel for someone in their early 20's? I'm interested but just unsure on whether I want to have any type of surgery so young.

Accutane
I started accutane, but did not finish because of financial reasons. My acne is coming back and was wondering if there is another approach to getting rid of them with out such a harsh treatment such as accutane. I believe my acne is mild. Its not severe as I have seen in some people. What will be my next step? Will I have to get more medicine and perscriptions? Or can I get some kind of lazer work done to end the acne nonsense?

Hi Howard

I'd like to know about how the assistance programs work for HIV patients for Radiesse or similiar treatments. Bruce Rashbaum has checked on Radiesse, which he thought would be best. I thought I'd ask you about what my costs would be for the treatment from you. How much, how many syringes etc I'd likely need and how often etc. Your office said I need to come in and get the forms to fill out. Can they be mailed and then I bring them in to you?

I"m just a poor flight attendant trying to make the best of all this. Meds alone are costing way too much. I'd like to consider this treatment or other suggestions and take advantage of the HIV programs.

Thanks for your time.
